Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the Parkland High School cross country and track & field teams... Coached by Stephen Ott and Doug Finley... Helped lead his team to cross country and track conference championships in 2022 and 2023... The squad won the district meet and placed eighth at the State Cross Country Championship in 2022... Was a part of the Conference Champion 4x800-meter relay team in 2022 and 2023... Set school records in the 800-meter run and 4x400-meter run during the indoor season... Recorded a top 5K time of 16:35 during the cross country season... Had top indoor times of 56.01 in the 400-meter dash and 2:00.16 in the 800-meter run, and top outdoor times of 52.71 in the 400-meter dash and 1:57.85 in the 800-meter run.
