2024 (Senior)

Competed in six races for the Spartans during his senior year, placing among the team’s top-seven finishers on four occasions… Recorded his best 8K time of the season at the UAA Championship, crossing the finish line in a time of 25:51.2 to place 44^th overall and sixth among CWRU competitors… Was also the team’s sixth finisher at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship, placing 64^th overall… Placed 24^th overall and second among Spartans at the Grizzly Invitational, recording a time of 26:11.83, his second-best time of the year… Received UAA Fall All-Academic honors… View his complete list of times and finishes from the season.

2023 (Junior)

Received All-Region honors for the first time in his career after placing 31^st overall and second among CWRU finishers at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship… Recorded a career-best 8K time of 24:42.9 at the race… Competed in all seven of the team’s races during the year, placing among the top five CWRU runners in all but one and finishing as the second-fastest Spartan on four occasions… Placed 39^th overall and fourth among Spartan finishers at the UAA Championships… Was the second Spartan to finish in each of the team’s first three races of the year – the Tommy Evans Invitational, the All-Ohio meet, and the Dickinson Long-Short… Earned UAA All-Academic honors and USTFCCCA Individual All-Academic acclaim… View his complete list of times and finishes from the season.

2022 (Sophomore)

Competed in four races for the Spartans during his sophomore season… Recorded a season-best 8K time of 26:09.8 at the Mike Woods Invitational, placing 47^th overall and sixth among Spartans… Was 89^th overall and the ninth CWRU runner to cross the finish line at the Inter-Regional Rumble with a time of 26:45.6… Also placed 142^nd overall and sixth among CWRU runners at the Spartan Invite (27:37.27) and eighth overall and third among Spartans at the Sudeck Classic with a 6K time of 20:01.2… Received UAA Fall All-Academic honors… Click here for a full list of times and finishes from 2022.

2021 (First-year)

Competed in six races during the season… Was the sixth Spartan to cross the finish line at the NCAA Championships, placing 244^th overall in a season-best 8K time of 25:50.9… Finished 45^th overall at the Great Lakes Region Championships and was the fifth CWRU runner to cross the line… Was the sixth Spartan finisher and 43^rd overall at the UAA Championships… Click here for a full list of times and finishes from 2021.

Personal

Was a four-year member of the Hilliard Davidson High School cross country and track & field teams, serving as a captain during his junior and senior seasons... Coached by Pat Schlecht... Was a three-time all-conference runner for cross country, and earned all-district honors in 2020... Was also a state qualifier in the indoor 1600m run in 2020 and 2021, and claimed all-conference and all-district honors in the event in 2021... Helped lead his team to a state runner-up finish for cross country in 2017 and 2018, and to a third-place finish in the indoor 4x800m relay in 2021... Also, set a state record as a part of the 4x1600m relay team in 2021... Recorded career-best times of 16:15 in the 5K during the cross country season, 1:59 in the 800m run, 3:09 in the 1200m run, 4:22 in the 1600m run, 9:39 in the 3200m run and 15:36 in the 5000m run... Received Academic All-State honors in 2020 and 2021 and graduated summa cum laude... Born April 12... The son of David and Shelly.
