2024 (Junior)

Served as a student assistant for the cross country team during his junior season.

2023 (Sophomore)

Was among the top nine Spartan finishers in each of the three races he competed in during his sophomore season… Recorded a career-best 8K time of 25:56.4 at the Mike Woods Invitational on October 14… Earned UAA All-Academic honors… View his complete list of times and finishes from the season.

Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the St. John's College High School cross country and track and field teams, serving as captain his senior year...Coached by Desmond Dunham & Gaby Grebski...Ran personal best times of 16:29 in the 5k, 4:30 in the 1600m...Team Won State and WCAC Championships for cross country and track in 2022 and won State Championship for track in 2021...Won Nike Cross Regionals rising star race in 2019...Named team's Most Valuable Runner as a sophomore...Also played ice hockey in high school, going to AA nationals in 2019.

Born March 25...Son of Susana Sitja and David Facchinato...His sister, Natalia, currently rows at Marietta College.
