2022 (Senior): Became just the second Spartan in program history and the first since Aaron Johnston-Peck in 2004 to win the individual UAA Championship, placing first out of 74 runners at the meet in a time of 24:44.5… Earned All-UAA First Team honors for the first time in his career by virtue of the finish… Was also named the M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week and the UAA Athlete of the Week for the effort… Went on to finish fourth overall and second among Spartan finishers at the NCAA Great Lakes Championship in a career-best 8K time of 24:27.7, just two seconds away from the school-record time…  Earned All-Region honors for the first time in his career… Was the Spartans’ third finisher and placed 191^st overall at the NCAA Championship… Made his season debut at the Mike Woods Invitational, finishing 19^th overall and fourth among Spartans with a time of 25:33.4 and placed seventh overall and third among Spartans at the Inter-Regional Rumble with a time of 25:18.6… Received UAA Fall All-Academic honors… Click here for a full list of times and finishes from 2022.

2020 (Sophomore): Received UAA Fall All-Academic honors... Team did not compete in 2020 due to the pandemic.

2019 (First-year): Competed in six races for the Spartans during the 2019 season… Was among the team’s top seven finishers on four occasions… Was the team’s fifth finish and placed 15^th among Division III runners and 48^th overall at the All-Ohio Championships… Was also the team’s fifth finish and finished 47^th at the Knight Invite… Placed 58^th at the UAA Championships…Recorded his season-best 8K time at the Inter-Regional Rumble, crossing the finish line in a time of 25:47.8.

Personal: Competed for the Dakota High School cross country team for two seasons and for the track & field team for four seasons... Served as a team captain during his senior year... Coached by Michael Timpa... Two-time state qualifier for track and field (2018 and 2019) and a 2018 cross country state qualifier... Also secured all-county honors for cross country and track & field during his junior and senior years, and all-conference honors in track & field (2017, 2018, 2019) and cross country (2017, 2018)... Set school records with times of 15:42 in the 5K during cross country season and 9:36 in the 3200m run in track... Earned multiple Academic All-County and All-Conference honors... Also played soccer in high school... Born September 24... Son of Jeffrey and Jeanette... His brother, Josh, competes on the Tiffin cross country and track & field teams.
