Prior to CWRU

Competed for the Sutherland High School cross country and track & field teams for four years, serving as an indoor captain as a junior and a cross country captain as a senior… Coached by Michael Welden, David Rappleyea, and Brian Lilly… Helped his high school cross country team win its first sectional championship in 41 years in 2023, as the squad went on to place third at the state championship… Led his outdoor 4x800m relay team to a seventh-place finish at the state championship in 2025… Was an all-state second team honoree and a 2025 county and sectional champion in the 3,000m steeplechase in 2025… Named to the Section V Cross Country All-Star Third Team in 2024… Winner of his high school’s all-sports sportsmanship award… Recorded career-best times of 16:12 in the cross country 5K, 10:00.43 in the 3,000m steeplechase, and 8:05 as a part of the 4x800m relay… Was a 12-time Scholar-Athlete and an 11-time honor roll selection.

Born March 17… The son of Michael and Stacey… His stepfather competed in track & field for Susquehanna University from 1992-95… Minoring in Italian.
