Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the cross country and track & field teams at Santa Rosa High School, serving as a captain during his junior and senior seasons… Coached by his mother, Carrie Joseph… Helped lead his team to cross country and track league championships in 2023-24… Won the league finals in the 3,200m run in 2023… Was an all-league first-team selection for cross country in 2022 and an All-Empire Second-Team honoree for track in 2024… Recorded a career-best cross country three-mile time of 15:35… Notched career-best track times of 9:49 in the 3,200m run and 4:32 in the 1,600m run… Named to the NCS Presidential Honor Roll and selected as an NCS Scholar-Athlete… Graduated magna cum laude… Also played basketball in high school.

Personal

Born April 23… The son of Matt and Carrie… Both his parents ran track & field and cross country for the University of Michigan from 1988-92.
