Alex Balogh joined the Case Western Reserve coaching staff in January 2020 as an intern, and serves as the team's assistant coach for running backs.
A graduate of Denison University, Balogh most recently served as the Linebackers and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University School in nearby Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Prior to that, he was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for football at his alma mater.
Balogh played in 34 games over his career at Denison and started all 10 of the team's games at cornerback during his senior year. He was a three-time NCAC Academic Honor Roll member, and was named to the Hampshire Honor Society as a senior. In addition, he served as the Vice President of the Diversity and Inclusion Group for Student-Athletes while at Denison.
Balogh graduated from Denison in 2020 with a degree in Economics. He is currently working towards his Masters of Business Administration at the Weatherhead School of Management at CWRU.
