Was a four-year member of the Ingraham High School baseball team, serving as a captain during his senior year… Was coached by Tim Lee… Helped his team break the school record for wins in a season as a senior… Was an all-state selection while earning all-league first team and team Most Valuable Player honors as a senior… Pitched to a 1.67 ERA with a 1.27 WHIP.
