The Case Western Reserve University softball team received Easton/NFCA All-Academic Team honors for the 2024-25 academic year and 11 Spartans were named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes, the organization announced on Thursday.
The Spartans were one of 133 teams in Division III honored with at least a 3.0 GPA. CWRU had a 3.60 overall grade point average for the 2024-25 school year.
The 11 members of the team that earned a GPA higher than 3.50 included graduate student KaiLi Gross, seniors Kylie Hosey, Katelyn Lamm, Lexi Miskey, and Abbey Rzeszutko, juniors Elizabeth Berry and Devanghi Misra, sophomores Nylah Durham, Karen Potts, and Alaina Steffes and first-year Riley Williams. In Division III, 2,565 student-athletes were named All-America Scholar-Athletes.
The CWRU softball team reached the postseason and won 30 games for the fourth consecutive year during the 2025 season. The Spartans ended the 2025 campaign with a record of 30-12.
