Three members of the Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team received Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association Division III All-Ohio honors, as announced by the organization this month. Seniors Lukas Dalakis and Kysen Kroeger both received All-Ohio and Academic All-Ohio honors and junior Bradley Winter was named to the All-Ohio Third Team.
Dalakis was named to the All-Ohio Third Team and Academic All-Ohio First Team, in addition to his All-University Athletic Association Second Team and CSC Academic All-District selections. He started every game for the Spartans for the third consecutive season and finished his career with a streak of 51 starts in a row for CWRU. He led the team with five assists during the campaign, which tied for fifth in the UAA, and totaled nine points with two goals. Dalakis scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over John Carroll on September 25. He finished his career with eight goals and 10 assists for 26 points, playing in 65 of a possible 66 games in four seasons with the team. He is a mechanical and aerospace engineering major with a 3.80 cumulative GPA. These are his first career All-Ohio selections.
Kroeger was named to the All-Ohio Third Team and Academic All-Ohio Second Team, in addition to his All-UAA Second Team and Academic All-District Team honors this season. He finished the season as the team's leading scorer, finding the back of the net seven times in 16 games. He added two assists during the year to total 16 points, tying for third in the conference for goals and fourth in the conference for points per game. Kroeger scored three game-winning goals for the Spartans. Over the last three seasons, Kroeger appeared in all 50 Case Western Reserve contests, scoring 13 goals and adding four assists for 30 points. Kroeger, a psychology major with a 3.96 GPA, earned his first career All-Ohio selections.
Winter was named to the All-Ohio Third Team after receiving All-UAA Second Team recognition following the season. He started 13 games for the Spartans, missing the other three contests due to injury. He made 43 saves in 1,170 minutes and posted four individual shutouts. Winter had a goals against average of 1.15, ranking third in the conference, and his four shutouts tied for second in the UAA. He has recorded 12 shutouts in his career, tied for the fourth-most in program history and four shy of the program record. This is second career All-Ohio honor after his Third Team selection last season.
CWRU ended the 2024 season with a record of 5-5-6.
