Winter allowed just one goal in two University Athletic Association games over the weekend for the Spartans as the team traveled to Chicago and St. Louis for matchups against the University of Chicago and WashU. Winter recorded his fourth shutout of the season during a scoreless tie with Chicago on Friday night, saving a career-high seven shots to keep the Maroons off the board for 90 minutes. On Sunday, he faced eight shots by the Bears and allowed just one goal across the entire contest, resulting in a 1-1 tie. In 11 starts this season, Winter has saved 31 shots and recorded a 1.00 goals against average for Case Western Reserve. CWRU moved to 5-4-5 overall with the two draws and 0-2-3 in conference play.
