Chambers helped the Spartans win seven events at the Early Season Invite hosted by Oberlin College at the Carr Pool in Oberlin, Ohio, on Sunday. Individually, Chambers placed first in the 50 Free (24.56 seconds), 100 Free (53.26 seconds), and 200 Free (1:57.62). She was also a member of the winning 200 (1:38.80)  and 400 Free Relays (3:38.76) and 200 (1:50.78) and 400 Medley Relays (4:05.37). The CWRU women's team placed first out of four teams with 1,030 points at the season-opening invitational, winning 16 of the 19 events.
