Marfatia led the Spartan attack during the team's 4-0 week, including three wins at the Bishop Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. Marfatia, who played in all 17 of the team's sets, averaged 3.18 kills, 2.65 digs, and 3.53 points per set last week. She started the four-match stretch with a 13-kill, 19-dig performance in a five-set home win over Baldwin Wallace, followed by putting down 23 kills with a .351 attacking percentage in a four-set victory over Albion, added eight kills in a sweep of Wisconsin-Platteville, and finished the weekend with a 10-kill, nine-dig performance during a five-set defeat of OWU. This season, she is averaging 3.39 kills per set, pacing the squad with 156 kills in 12 matches, and adds 0.28 service aces per set with four coming over the last week. CWRU improved to 12-0 with the four wins, starting the 2024 season with its longest winning streak in program history.
