Russo drove in three runs on three hits for the 10th-ranked Spartans in the team's 11-2 five-inning win over the 22nd-ranked University of Mount Union on Sunday at Mather Park in Cleveland. Russo tied the score with a single in the bottom of the first inning and delivered the go-ahead run with a single in the third frame. During the team's eight-run fourth inning, she doubled to make the score 9-2. Russo finished the game 3-for-3 at the plate with three runs batted in and a run scored. It marked her first three-hit game of the season and the fourth of her career. This year, the junior is batting .356 with 11 extra-base hits, 27 runs scored, and 23 runs batted in. With the win, the Spartans improved to 32-6 on the season.
