Maza helped lead the fourth-ranked Spartans to a pair of wins over nationally-ranked Division III opponents last weekend. Maza finished the weekend with a 2-0 record at no. 1 doubles with senior Vishwa Aduru and added a 2-0 record at no. 6 singles. In a 7-2 victory over 28th-ranked Kenyon, Maza and Aduru bested Gianluca Bocanegra and Paulo Pocasangre 8-5, and he then clinched the team win with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Rakkan Audeh. During a 9-0 win over 41st-ranked Rochester on Saturday, he was a part of an 8-2 doubles victory against Kai Yuminaga and Rahul Ravi and was the first to finish in singles play with a 6-0, 6-3 win against David Riccio. Maza improved to 16-4 in singles matches this year (including a 12-2 mark in the spring) and 22-8 in doubles play (13-4 in the spring). CWRU has now won six straight matches to improve to 19-4 overall.
