Potts hit over .500 with a slugging percentage over 1.000 for the seventh-ranked Spartans during the team's four-game weekend sweep of New York University at Mather Park in Cleveland. For the weekend, Potts collected eight hits in 15 at-bats (.533 batting average), including her first two career home runs and a triple. She scored seven times, drove in six runs, and stole three bases on three attempts. Potts recorded a .563 on-base percentage and a 1.067 slugging percentage for a 1.630 OPS across the four games. She went three-for-four in the first game of the series, a 10-4 win, with a triple, two runs scored and two stolen bases. In the next game of Friday's doubleheader, an 11-1 win, she drove in a career-high four runs and slugged her first career home run. In Sunday's series finale, a 14-2 victory, Potts collected three hits, including her second home run of the series, for the third time this season, scoring three times and driving in two runs. This season, the Spartan starting shortstop is leading the team in batting average (.413) and steals (13) and ranks second in runs scored (18), doubles (7), home runs (2), and runs batted in (19). Case Western Reserve improved to 19-2 on the season with the sweep and started UAA play with a 4-0 record.
