Meng earned a pair of All-America honors at the 2024 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships last week. Meng became the first Spartan on the men's swimming and diving team to earn multiple All-America honors at the same championship since Drew Hamilton was a two-time honoree in 2017. On the second day of competition, he placed seventh in the 400 IM in 3:55.25 after setting the school record in the event in the preliminary heats with a time of 3:53.35. His seventh-place finish was the best finish and the first All-America podium finish for a male Spartan swimmer in any event since 2006 (Pat Rodjom, sixth, 100 Breast). It also marked the best finish for a Spartan in the event since 1989. On the final day of competition, Meng placed 14th in the 1650 Free in 15:45.69 to earn All-America honorable mention, the best finish by a Spartan in the event in 24 years.
