Miskey helped the seventh-ranked Spartans record a 7-1 record over their final eight games at The Spring Games in central Florida last week. Miskey appeared in seven of the eight games, making four starts, and recorded a 5-1 record for her efforts in the circle. She struck out 51 batters in just 28 innings for a K/7 rate of 12.75 to move into second place in program history with 426 career strikeouts. Miskey allowed a 1.25 earned run average, limited opponents to a .115 batting average, and recorded a WHIP of 0.75. She earned the win in each of the team's final four games, two of which came in relief, striking out 34 batters and allowing just three runs on six hits in 17 and one-third innings. Her two most dominant performances of the week were a six inning, 10-strikeout shutout effort against SUNY Geneseo on Thursday in which she allowed just two hits, and a complete game four-hitter with 10 strikeouts against Mount St. Joseph on Monday. This season, the Spartan hurler is 8-2 with a 1.55 ERA, recording 74 strikeouts in 49 and two-third innings. CWRU improved to 13-2 following its 10-game trip to Florida.
