Anderson helped lead the Spartans to three wins over six games last week. Anderson led all Spartan players during the week with a .464 (13-for-28) batting average, a .857 slugging percentage, a .516 on-base percentage, 11 runs scored, five doubles, and two home runs. He also drove in seven runs, drew a pair of walks, and stole one base. He hit safely in all six games and had five multiple-hit efforts. Highlights from his week included a three-for-five showing with a home run, a double, and three runs scored against Swarthmore on Monday, a two-for-four performance with a double, three runs batted in, and two runs scored against Oswego State on Thursday, and a four-for-six game with four runs scored, two runs driven in, a double, and a home run against Oswego on Friday. Anderson also picked up his second save of the season during the week, pitching a scoreless ninth inning with a pair of strikeouts against Trinity. He is batting .382 this season with 20 runs scored, six doubles, two home runs, and nine runs batted in. The Spartans ended their spring break trip to South Carolina with a 9-5 overall record.
