Kahl helped lead the 11th-ranked Spartans to a pair of wins at home last weekend. Kahl led all CWRU players with 22.5 points and 9.0 rebounds over the two contests. He shot 65.2% (15-of-23) overall, 50.0% (4-of-8) from behind the three-point line, and 84.6% (11-of-13) from the free throw line, while adding 1.5 assists per game with a steal and a block. During Friday night's 81-70 win over Chicago, he scored 16 points on five-of-eight shooting overall, two-of-three from long range, and made all four of his free throws, while adding eight rebounds and an assist. In a 74-59 win over 17th-ranked WashU on Sunday, he matched his career high with 29 points on 10-of-15 shooting overall, two-of-five from behind the three-point line, and made seven-of-nine free throws, while collecting 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season, along with two assists, a block, and a steal. Kahl is averaging 15.5 points per game this season on 54.0% shooting overall with 7.2 rebounds per game. The Spartans improved to 17-3 with the victories, including a 6-3 record in University Athletic Association games.
