Wachtman won a pair of events for the Spartans at the Dr. Taraschke Team Challenge hosted by Baldwin Wallace University at the Harrison Dillard Track in Berea, Ohio, on Saturday. Wachtman placed first in the weight throw with a heave of 15.57 meters and recorded the best mark in the shot put of 12.05 meters. Wachtman's efforts helped the CWRU women's track and field team place first out of six teams at the meet, scoring 92.0 points. Her weight throw distance ranks 47th in Division III and second in the University Athletic Association, and her shot put mark ranks fifth in the conference.
