Blessinger paced the Spartans defensively with a team-high 56 digs (4.67 per set) in four wins over the weekend at the Great Lakes Cross Over in Sandusky, Ohio. Blessinger recorded at least 10 digs in all four matches, including a season-high 18 against Carroll in the final match of the weekend. Additionally, she tied for the team lead with nine service aces and tallied 17 assists across 12 sets. For her career, Blessinger has 999 career digs. CWRU swept each opponent they faced in Sandusky to open the season with a record of 4-0.
