Arch secured three pins during the wrestling team's 2-1 performance at the University Athletic Association vs. Ohio Athletic Conference Challenge on Saturday at the Veale Center in Cleveland. Arch, competing at 165 pounds for CWRU, started his day with a 40-second win over Mount Union's Jake Starkey in a 22-21 victory. In a 26-15 loss to 21st-ranked Ohio Northern, he bested Kael Margraf in 4:47. To end the day, Arch defeated Anthony Grecol of Heidelberg in 1:34 during the team's 33-16 win. With the 3-0 performance, Arch improved to 17-5 (.773) on the season with a team-high 16 pins and 94-47 (.667) with 73 pins for his career. He entered the weekend ranked third in the Central Region at 165 pounds by the NWCA. The Spartans finished the day with a record of 3-1 in dual matches during the 2023-24 campaign.
