Meng set three school records and recorded four NCAA B cut times at the Total Performance Invitational at the Steen Aquatic Center in Gambier, Ohio, last week. Meng won the 400 IM with a school record time of 3:54.59, besting the previous mark of 3:57.85 set by Drew Hamilton in 2017. He currently has the fastest time in Division III in the event. Meng broke his own record in the 1000 Free, swimming the first part of the 1650 Free in 9:28.77. He finished the event fifth with a B Cut time of 15:45.65, the fifth-fastest time in the country. Meng led off the 800 Free Relay with a program-best time of 1:39.62, recording a B Cut and helping the relay place third in 6:43.14. The relay's time is fourth-fastest in Division III, and Meng's time in the 200 Free ranks eighth in the country. The Spartan men's team set eight school records at the three-day invitational, placing fourth overall with 1,140.0 points.
