Iagnemma punched a ticket to the National Championship meet next weekend with a second-place finish at the 2023 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region Championship at the Silver Creek Metro Park in Norton, Ohio, on Saturday afternoon. Iagnemma was the runner-up out of 296 competitors in the 6K race, crossing the finish line in a career-best time of 20:43.9 and finishing just a tenth of a second behind the regional champion. Iagnemma, who earned All-Region honors for the first time, ran a career-best mark by 49 seconds. Iagnemma's performance helped lead CWRU to an eighth place finish out of 40 total teams at the meet with a score of 221.
