Potts hit a pair of home runs to help the 16th-ranked Spartans sweep Hiram College in a doubleheader on Tuesday at Mather Park in Cleveland. Potts went three-for-five across the two games, with all three hits going for extra bases, scored five runs, drove two in, and stole a base. In the first game, she drew a walk to open the contest, the sole baserunner for the Spartans until the final frame. Potts doubled to lead off the seventh and scored the game-winning run in a 1-0 victory. In the second game, she hit two home runs, scored four times, and added a walk in a 9-1 win in six innings. This season, Potts is hitting .367 with a .467 on-base percentage and .523 slugging percentage. She has scored 36 times, hit 11 doubles, and drove in 27 runs. CWRU improved to 26-9 with the two wins.
