Kosseifi clinched a win for the fifth-ranked Spartans on Saturday, as his victory at no. 2 singles secured a 4-3 team victory over 21st-ranked Carnegie Mellon University. Kosseifi, ranked 16th in the Central Region in singles play, bested Raghav Jangbahadur, ranked ninth in the Atlantic South, in three sets, winning 6-4, 4-6, 6-2, winning the final four games played to lock in the victory. Kosseifi improved to 21-7 in singles matches this season, including a 13-6 mark in the spring. The Spartans will enter next weekend's University Athletic Association Tournament with a 22-5 overall record and winners of 15 of their last 16 matches.
