Devaraj helped to lead the fifth-ranked Spartans to three wins in as many matches at the Ohio Invitational last weekend at the Mayfield Village Racquet Club in Mayfield, Ohio. Devaraj went 2-0 in third singles matches for the Spartans and was 3-0 in doubles action. Devaraj contributed a pair of points to the Spartans' 7-0 win over 21st-ranked Washington & Lee University on Saturday, teaming with senior Casey Hishinuma for a 6-1 win over Evan Erb and Will Kistler at no. 1 doubles and claiming a 6-1, 7-5 victory over James Kurani at third singles. Later in the day, he paired with junior Rohan Bhat for a 7-5 win at no. 2 doubles over Rahul Vallabhajosula and Hart Oyer in a 7-0 win against Hobart College. Devaraj wrapped up the weekend by helping lead CWRU to a 5-2 triumph against 10th-ranked Washington University (Mo.), winning the no. 2 doubles match with Bhat over Colin Fox and Eric Kuo 6-2, and defeating Stefan Hester in three sets at no. 3 singles, 6-4, 7-6 (6), 10-7. Devaraj improved to 15-7 in singles matches and 20-7 in doubles play following the undefeated weekend. The Spartans have won 12 consecutive matches and stand at 19-4 this season.
