Miskey won both of her starts over the weekend for the 15th-ranked Spartans while striking out more than two-thirds of the batters she faced. Miskey finished the weekend with a record of 2-0, recording 23 strikeouts and allowing only one run in just 10 innings. Opposing hitters had a .091 batting average against her, registering three hits in 33 at-bats. On Thursday, Miskey tossed five shutout innings against Capital, striking out 11 while allowing just two baserunners in the game. She bettered her performance on Sunday against Denison, punching out 12 Big Red batters in five innings of one-run ball. This season, Miskey has a record of 9-3, a 2.61 ERA, and 76 strikeouts across 72 and one-third innings in 16 appearances (13 starts). CWRU improved to 14-7 on the season after winning all four of its games over the weekend.
