Gross completed a strong spring break week for the third-ranked Spartans, helping lead the team to a 3-3 record. Gross hit .619 (13-for-21) over the six games with a .652 on-base percentage and a 1.286 slugging percentage. She scored nine runs and drove in 10 while collecting five doubles, three home runs, and a pair of walks. On Monday, she went two-for-three with a double, a home run, a walk, two runs, and three runs batted in and drove in the go-ahead runs in the sixth with a two-run double in a 6-3 win over Bethel and followed that with a two-for-four game with a double and a run scored in a 4-2 loss to Illinois Wesleyan. In a doubleheader against ninth-ranked Redlands the next day, she went three-for-four with a run, an RBI, and a double in an 8-6 loss. On the team's final day of competition, she went four-for-four with four runs, five runs batted in, a walk, and two home runs in a 12-5 win over Haverford and two-for-three with a double, a run, and an RBI in a 3-1 win against Whittier. Gross also set the program's career records for career RBI and hits during the week. She is now batting .511 with four home runs, 15 RBI, and 19 runs scored in 14 games this season. The Spartans stand at 9-5 during the 2025 campaign.
