Fromberg accounted for five touchdowns during the Spartans' 42-7 win over Geneva College on Saturday night. He turned in the best game of his Spartan career, completing 12-of-25 passes for a career-high 295 yards and three touchdowns, while also running for a career-high 96 yards and two more touchdowns. Fromberg got CWRU on the board at the 7:40 mark with a 23-yard touchdown pass to Noah Coyne and extended the lead to 14-0 with a 26-yard scoring strike to Riley Knurek with 12:25 left in the second quarter. With 6:44 left in the first half, Fromberg found Coyne again, this time on a 63-yard pass, to put CWRU in front 21-7 heading into the half. In the second half, he ran for a pair of scores, reaching the end zone from three yards out and from 18 yards away to help CWRU cement the win. Fromberg has completed 56.1% of his passes this season for 491 yards and five touchdowns without throwing an interception and is the team's leading rusher with 169 yards and a pair of scores. The Spartans improved to 2-1 overall and in PAC play following the win.
