  • Torres-Padin, Hoover and Song Selected to Participate in NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum

    Case Western Reserve University senior Isa Torres-Padin of the women’s cross country and track & field teams, junior Andrew Hoover of the wrestling team, and Head Wrestling Coach Danny Song have each been selected to participate in the 2019 NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum in Orlando, Florida from April 11 – 14.
  • Men’s & Women’s XC and Eight Individuals Win USTFCCCA Academic Awards

    Both the Case Western Reserve University men’s and women’s cross country teams, along with eight individual members of the squad, received academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, based on their athletic and scholastic performances during the 2018 season.

  • CWRU Cross Country Aims for Success at NCAA Championships

    The Case Western Reserve University men’s cross country team will be looking to make its presence felt on a national level when it travels to the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wisconsin for the 2018 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 17th.  In addition, CWRU junior Madeline Lindemann will be representing the women’s squad at the meet after receiving an invitation to compete individually at the NCAA Championships.

The day will begin with the women’s varsity 6,000-meter race at 10:30 a.m., to be followed by the men’s varsity 8,000-meter race at 11:15 a.m.

    Case Western Reserve University junior Madeline Lindemann finished first in the women’s 4,000-meter race, and junior Andrew Green claimed a victory in the men’s 6,000-meter race to help pace the Spartans to a sweep in the teams’ season-opening meet, the Sudeck Sunset Classic Stampede at the Squire Valleevue Farm in Hunting Valley, Ohio on Friday afternoon.

Frank Rudy (CIT ‘50).
