2015: Received the CWRU Athletic Department’s Andrews Award… Was the team’s top finisher in each of the seven events she ran in during the season… Earned All-Region honors after finishing as the runner-up at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships with a time of 21:56.7… Placed 10th at the UAA Championships with a time of 22:26.0 to earn all-conference second team honors… Qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships for the second time during her career, finishing 55th with a time of 22:00.5… Placed third at the All-Ohio Championships, and won the Sudeck Sundown Classic… Recorded a career-best 6K time of 21:27.1 at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble, finishing fifth overall… Received UAA All-Academic honors.
2014: Aamoth competed in her first NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship and finished 138th in the nation, receiving an Individual USTFCCCA Division III Scholar Athlete Award. She also received a UAA All-Academic Recognition, one of ninety-six Case Western Reserve University student-athletes and one of nine CWRU Women’s Varsity Cross Country athletes that were named to the 2014 University Athletic Association Fall All-Academic Team. Aamoth was also CWRU’s Dorothy L. Hoza Award winner for the second year in a row.
2013: Led team in all six varsity races…named a USTFCCCA Scholar Athlete and a member of the UAA Presidents Council Scholar-Athlete Team…also CWRU’s Dorothy L. Hoza Award winner…earned first-team All-UAA honors with a fifth-place performance (22:15.7) at the UAA Championship in Pittsburgh…NCAA All-Great Lakes Region performer for the second year in a row with a 21st-place time of 22:34.3 at Calvin…won the season-opening Bill Sudeck Classic for the second year in a row with a 4k mark of 15:33.53…named UAA Runner of the Week on September 16 after posting a personal-best 5k of 18:13.20 at Calvin’s Knight Invitational…ran a career-best 6k, placing runner-up in 21:55.5 at Oberlin’s Inter-Regional Rumble…UAA All-Academic honoree.
2012: Competed in all six varsity races and led team in five…named CWRU’s Nancy Gray Rookie of the Year…earned second-team All-UAA honors by virtue of a 13th-place finish (22:49.30) at the UAA Championship in Rochester…also an all-region performer with a time of 22:39.29 at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship at Anderson (Ind.)…made collegiate debut with a first-place 4k time of 15:28.80 at the Bill Sudeck Classic…posted season-best 5k mark of 18:43.37 to finish 11th at the All-Ohio Championship…ran to a season-best 6k time of 21:58.80 and placed 12th at the Inter-Regional Rumble.
Personal: Earned four varsity letters in both cross country and track at nearby Solon High School…five-time All-Northeast Ohio Conference honoree with three selections in cross country and two for track…recipient of the 3-D Award (Dedication, Desire, Determination) for cross country in 2011…track team Distance MVP as a senior…honor roll student and a recipient of a Medallion Award…daughter of William and Sharon Aamoth.
