    MASON, Ohio – Competing at the NCAA Championship Meet for the first time in her career, Case Western Reserve University junior Kelsey Aamoth (Solon, Ohio/Solon) placed 138th of 280 runners on Saturday afternoon at the Golf Center at Kings Island.
  • Aamoth Punches Ticket to Nationals, No.25 Spartan Women Fifth at NCAA Great Lakes Regional

    MASON, Ohio – Junior Kelsey Aamoth (Solon, Ohio/Solon) automatically qualified for next weekend’s NCAA Championship Meet as the No. 25 nationally ranked Case Western Reserve University women’s cross country team placed fifth of 35 schools at the 2014 NCAA Great Lakes Regional at the Golf Center at Kings Island.

  • 96 CWRU Student-Athletes Named to 2014 UAA Fall All-Academic Team

    PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Ninety-six Case Western Reserve University student-athletes were named to the 2014 University Athletic Association Fall All-Academic Team. Within the UAA, All-Academic recognition is awarded to student-athletes who have completed at least one full year of college study and who carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.300.

LOUIS – Led by senior captain Kristen Ruckstuhl (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) in 12th place, the No. 17 nationally ranked Case Western Reserve University women’s cross country team finished fourth at the 2014 University Athletic Association Championship on Saturday afternoon at Forest Park. The fourth-place finish was the best for the program since a runner-up performance in 2009.

The Spartans finished ahead of five nationally ranked teams.

    HUNTING VALLEY, Ohio – Freshman Danielle Kulpnis (Brookfield, Wis./Brookfield Central) won an individual title in her collegiate debut, and the Case Western Reserve University women’s cross country team defeated John Carroll University in the 14th Annual Bill Sudeck Classic on Saturday at Squire Valleevue Farm.
