Jeff Harrah enters his 16th season on the Case Western Reserve coaching staff in 2017. A native of Lakewood, Ohio, Harrah also serves as Director for the Quicksilver Volleyball Club in Medina.
A member of the 2010 University Athletic Association Coaching Staff of the Year, Harrah helped lead the Spartans to a 24-11 record and the first NCAA Tournament berth in program history. In 2015, he helped Case Western Reserve reach the NCAA Division III Championships again, with the squad winning its first-ever NCAA Tournament game. The 2015 team finished the year with an overall record of 25-8, while finishing third at the UAA Championships.
Harrah has coached in the local volleyball ranks since 1992, starting with club, junior varsity and varsity positions at Lakewood High School. He then took over as head coach at Quicksilver in 2000 and led the club to nationals in 2006. He also served as head coach for the Great Lakes Volleyball Club from 2007-08 and once again led a national qualifying team.
