The Case Western Reserve University volleyball team will prepare for their final non-conference matches of the season as they host the College of Wooster and Buffalo State College on Saturday, November 2nd. The Spartans will face Wooster at 11:00 a.m. and conclude the tri-meet with a 3:00 p.m. match against Buffalo State.
Saturday's matches will also serve as the senior day celebration, to recognize the fine accomplishments of the five senior Spartan volleyball players who have given their time and hard work to the program.

CWRU Spartans (9-15)
The Spartans split a pair of matches in Delaware, Ohio on Saturday, defeating DePauw University 3-2 in the early affair, but falling 3-2 to Ohio Wesleyan University in late match. Senior outside hitter Brianna Lemon led the Spartans during the two matches, finishing with 38 kills and 33 digs. Junior libero Jana Giaquinto tallied a team-high 64 digs (6.4 per set) throughout the two matches.
For the season, CWRU is led by Lemon and senior middle hitter Haley Sims, who average 2.70 and 2.20 kills per set, respectively. Senior setter Faith Ellis records 4.84 assists per set for the Spartan offense, while Giaquinto tallies a team-high 3.66 digs per set for the season.
Wooster Fighting Scots (10-14)
The Fighting Scots are led by freshman outside hitter Hayley Nash who averages 3.17 kills per set and sophomore middle blocker Katie Billetdeaux who adds 2.44 kills per set. Junior setter Meghan Botsch has set up the Wooster offense, as she averages 8.81 assists per set. In the back row, freshman libero Sydney Fitzcharles averages a team-high 4.82 digs per set.
Last season, the Spartans fell 3-2 to the Fighting Scots in Wooster, Ohio.
Buffalo State Bengals (7-15)
Buffalo State is currently led by senior Eimile O'Brien who averages 2.88 kills per set as well as 2.14 digs per set. Junior setter Brooke Federko leads the Bengals in assists, averaging 7.99 per set. Defensively, freshman defensive specialist Darion Jonathan picks up 4.29 digs per set.
CWRU and Buffalo State met last season during the Buffalo State Bengal Challenge, when the Spartans claimed the 3-0 victory.
Senior Brianna Lemon currently ranks fourth among all University Athletic Association players with 259 kills…For her career, Lemon has totaled 1,145 kills and 1,051 digs…She becomes one of just six players in the program's history to have reached 1,000 kills and digs in a career…The Spartans are averaging 11.22 kills per set, 10.34 assists per set and 1.60 blocks per set this season.
