The Case Western Reserve University volleyball team will travel to Tiffin, Ohio for the No One Fights Alone Invitational, hosted by Heidelberg University, on Friday, September 21st and Saturday, September 22nd.
The Spartans are slated to play Mount St. Joseph University at 6:00 p.m. and host Heidelberg University at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday, CWRU will face Hanover College at 10:00 a.m. and Otterbein University at 2:00 p.m. to conclude to the invitational.

CWRU Spartans (8-4)
The Spartans saw its three match winning streak come to a close on Wednesday night with a 3-0 loss (25-17, 28-26 and 25-22) to Baldwin Wallace University.
Junior outside hitter Karley King paced the squad with eight kills, with junior middle hitter Haley Sims and sophomore outside hitter Jana Giaquinto contributing seven and five, respectively. Junior setter Faith Ellis led the team with 13 assist, while sophomore libero Anna Jaskoviak had a Spartan-best 11 digs in the match. Sims chipped in seven total blocks, including three solo.
Mount St. Joseph Lions (5-5)
The Lions will enter Friday's match coming off a 3-1 loss to Thomas More College on Wednesday evening. Briana Looney recorded a team-high 11 kills. Sydney Wilzbach set up the offense with 24 assists, while Karlie Schell added 12 digs.
For the season, MSJ has averaged 11.73 kills per set, 10.82 assists per set and 1.26 blocks per set. Cailey Plemmons leads the Lions with 103 kills, while Looney is close behind with 102. Wilzbach sets up the offense as she has tallied 291 assists for the season. Defensively, Schell has totaled 141 digs, while Plemmons has contributed 94 to the team total.
Heidelberg Student Princes (8-5)
The Student Princes have averaged 11.71 kills per set, 11.18 assists per set and 1.33 blocks per set. Morgan Strenk currently leads Heidelberg with 105 kills and Anna McNabb has set up the Student Princes' offense with 320 assists. Defensively, Taylor Arbogast has recorded a team-high 231 digs, while Laura Schrag has registered 29 total blocks.
Heidelberg will open the invitational against the College of Wooster on Friday, before facing the Spartans later in the day.
Hanover Panthers (6-5)
The Panthers have averaged 11.14 kills per set, 10.14 assists per set and 1.88 blocks per set. Kelsey Ketcham leads Hanover with 104 kills and Abby Crump has set up the Panthers offense with 177 assists. Defensively, Ally Williams has recorded a team-high 198 digs, while Claire Dennis has registered 34 total blocks.
Hanover opens the invitational against Wooster on Friday, before facing the Spartans on Saturday.
Otterbein Cardinals (9-4)
The Cardinals have averaged 12.9 kills per set, 12.1 assists per set and 14.5 digs per set this season. Hadley Sterett leads Otterbein with 183 kills and Andrea Miller has set up the Cardinals offense with 456 assists. Defensively, Ashlyn Leon has recorded a team-high 209 digs, while Alana King-Mendenhall and Tate Eppard have each registered 21 total blocks.
Otterbein will open the invitational against Mount St. Joseph on Saturday at 12:00 p.m., before facing the Spartans at 2:00 p.m.
Sophomore Anna Jaskoviak currently ranks third in the University Athletic Association with 4.88 digs per set and fourth with 200 digs…Junior Haley Sims ranks fourth with 1.27 blocks per set, while sophomore Katie Kaminski ranks fifth in the UAA with a .352 hitting percentage…The Spartans are averaging 13.12 kills per set, 12.37 assists per set and 2.20 blocks per set this season.
