CWRU Volleyball Opens Conference Play in Week 5

During week five, the Case Western Reserve University volleyball team will travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the first conference games of 2016.

The Spartans are set to play New York University at 2:00 p.m. and the University of Rochester at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. On Sunday, CWRU will face No. 7 Emory University to conclude the first University Athletic Association Round Robin hosted by Carnegie Mellon University.

Case Western Reserve has won seven of 12 matches by a score of 3-2. The 8-0 start during the 2016 season was tied for the second-best by a Spartan's team under Head Coach Karen Farrell, tying the 2012 team that recorded eight straight-victories to start that campaign.
