    Case Western Reserve University graduate student thrower Cassandra Laios, sophomore sprinter Julie Hines, junior sprinter Jonathan Haling and senior jumper Ananth Suresh were named the University Athletic Association Athletes of the Week for track and field, following their performances at the YSU Icebreaker on Friday.

    Highlighting the Spartan performances on Saturday, graduate student Cassandra Laios finished second in the weight throw as the Case Western Reserve University men’s and women’s track and field teams finished competition at the YSU Icebreaker in Youngstown, Ohio.
  • 43 Spartans Inducted into the Van Horn Society

    Case Western Reserve University and President Barbara R. Snyder inducted 43 members into the Van Horn Society, which recognizes student-athletes at the University who have recorded a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 or higher and have an academic standing of juniors or seniors at the University.
  • Kent State Golden Gala Cancelled; Track & Field to Compete at YSU Icebreaker on Friday

    The Case Western Reserve University track and field teams will no longer be competing at the Kent State Golden Gala this weekend, due to facility issues on the Kent State University campus. Instead, the Spartans will be traveling to Youngstown State University for the YSU Icebreaker on Friday, December 7th.

Action at the meet is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
