Spartan Women Compete at Sparky Adams Invitational

BEREA, Ohio – The Case Western Reserve University women's track & field team competed for the final time ahead of the University Athletic Association Outdoor Championship at Saturday's Sparky Adams Invitational at The George Finnie Stadium.

Junior Rachel Tan (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor), sophomore Christen Saccucci (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton Warrenville South) and junior McKenzie Braun (Omaha, Neb./West Side) all finished top five in their respective events.

Tan tied for second in the high jump (five feet, one inch), Saccucci placed third in the pole vault (10'), and Braun finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles (1:09.66).

CWRU will now travel to Chicago to compete at the UAA Outdoor Championship Meet hosted at Amos Alonzo Stagg Field on April 26-27.
