    PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Sixty-nine Case Western Reserve University student-athletes spanning six athletic teams were named to the 2013 University Athletic Association Spring All-Academic team. Within the UAA, All-Academic Recognition is awarded to student-athletes who have completed at least one full year of college study and who carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.300.

However, an 88-39 loss for the Spartan men gave the visitors the higher combined score and claim to the Obelisk Trophy.

    CLEVELAND, Ohio – Case Western Reserve University Director of Athletics Dave Diles has announced the hiring of Eric Schmuhl as the new head coach for men's and women's track & field. Schmuhl has spent the past four seasons as an assistant coach at cross-town Baldwin Wallace University.
