    Seventeen Case Western Reserve University student-athletes were named to the 12th-annual University Athletic Association Presidents Council Scholar-Athlete Team, which recognizes the top-achieving athletes in the conference both in the classroom and in competition.

  • Student, Athlete, Spartan: Nicole Cardwell Strives to Help Others

    Case Western Reserve University junior Nicole Cardwell has played a major role for the CWRU women’s tennis team over her three years as a Spartan. Throughout her career, Cardwell has totaled a 28-22 mark in singles play and a 42-21 overall record in doubles action. This past fall, she was a member of the doubles pairing that advanced all the way to the semifinals of the main doubles draw at the 2019 ITA Division III Central Regional Championships.

  • CWRU Women’s Tennis Cancels Spring Break Trip to California

    On Thursday afternoon, Case Western Reserve University announced restrictions for university-related domestic travel to cities or counties where government leaders have declared a health emergency or the CDC has declared high risk due to the Coronavirus outbreak. As a result, the CWRU women’s tennis team will no longer travel to California over spring break, and has cancelled all matches during the trip.
