    SKILLMAN, N.J. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association has released its final polls for the 2013-14 season, and the Case Western Reserve University women rank 22nd in the nation as well as fourth in the ITA Central Region.

    PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Eighty Case Western Reserve University student-athletes have been named to the 2014 University Athletic Association Spring All-Academic Team. Within the UAA, All-Academic recognition is awarded to student-athletes who have completed at least one full year of college study and who carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30.

The sixth-seeded Spartans now advance to the fifth-place match to play fifth-seeded Brandeis University (Mass.) on Sunday.

The sixth-seeded Spartans will now play seventh-seeded University of Rochester (N.Y.) on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

    CLEVELAND – Case Western Reserve University Director of Athletics Dave Diles has announced the promotion of Kirsten Gambrell to head women’s tennis coach. Gambrell, the reigning Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region Women’s Assistant of the Year, spent the past season as assistant coach for both Spartan men’s and women’s tennis.
