    PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Sixty-nine Case Western Reserve University student-athletes spanning six athletic teams were named to the 2013 University Athletic Association Spring All-Academic team. Within the UAA, All-Academic Recognition is awarded to student-athletes who have completed at least one full year of college study and who carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.300.

The match, moved indoors due to cold weather, also served as the program's Seniors' Day and was designated as a "Rally for the Cure" event with all proceeds going to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The Spartans cruised by No. 22 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in the morning, 7-2, but fell by an 8-1 score to No. 6 University of Chicago.
