Case Western Reserve University junior Caitlyn VonFeldt, sophomore Sarah Krueger, sophomore Kelly Moton and sophomore Anna Smith were selected to the field of competitors for the 2020 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships.
VonFeldt, Krueger, Moton and Smith each earned entry to the field in the 400-yard medley relay, after swimming a time of 3:50.33 at the 2020 Midwest Invitational. Their time is good for the 19th-best seed time among relays entered in the event for the NCAA Championships.
VonFeldt also received entry to the 100-yard backstroke, as she is seeded 20th with a time of 56.23.
Last year, VonFeldt teamed with sophomore Daniella Rupert and former Spartans Suhan Mestha and Renee Decker to compete in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The relay team placed 18th in the event with a time of 1:35.87. In addition, Mestha finished 14th in the 50-yard freestyle to claim an All-America Honorable Mention certificate.
The 2020 NCAA Division III Championships will be hosted by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina from March 18th 21st.
