The Case Western Reserve University swimming and diving team will send a small contingent of swimmers to compete at the Midwest Invitational at the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois this weekend.
With the University Athletic Association Championships happening this past weekend, only a few Spartans will make the trip to Chicago for the meet. Currently scheduled to attend for the Spartan men are senior Eli Rose, sophomores Seth Brown, Mathias Hostetler, Michael Schiml and Kelvin Tay, and first-years Yoochan Lee, Ethan Park and Campbell Patterson. The women that are currently scheduled to attend the invite are senior Elizabeth Ye, junior Caitlyn VonFeldt, sophomores Mary Eggers, Skye Fogle, Sarah Krueger, Kelly Moton, Daniella Rupert, and Anna Smith, and first-years Sasha Grinevich, Maria Pritchett and Erica Yang.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday, February 21st and resume on Saturday, February 22nd with preliminaries at 12:00 p.m. ET and finals at 6:00 p.m. ET.
The Spartan men and women are both currently ranked 20th in Division III, according to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America poll.
Results from the meet will be posted daily to athletics.case.edu, with a recap of the Spartans' performances at the meet to be posted following the completion of competition on Saturday.
