INDIANAPOLIS – With the fourth-fastest time in the nation in the 200-yard butterfly, Case Western Reserve University junior captain Maggie Dillione (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) has been named an official qualifier for the 2013 NCAA Division III Championship Meet to be held in Shenandoah, Texas from March 20-23.

Dillione will be the first Spartan swimming & diving student-athlete since 2008-09 and the first Spartan woman since 2006-07 to compete at the national meet.

Seeded No. 4 in the 32-swimmer field for the 200 fly, Dillione achieved her entry time of 2:03.20 when she set a school record and won a University Athletic Association Championship on February 16. Senior Hannah Saiz of 23-time National Champion Kenyon College is the top seed in the event with a time of 1:57.32.

Dillione figures to have a strong shot at becoming the program's first All-American since Lauren Preyss achieved the feat in three separate events in 2007. Dillione will also swim in the 100 fly as the No. 14 seed (56.25) and the 50 freestyle as the 44th seed (24.39).

The 50 free is set for Wednesday, March 20 with 10:00 a.m. (CDT) prelims. Finals for the event are slated for 6:00 p.m. (CDT) that evening inside Conroe Natatorium.

The 100 fly and 200 fly take place at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. as well on Thursday and Friday, respectively.
