CWRU Athletics Top Moments of 2019-20: Women's Soccer Makes the NCAA Tournament

As part of our 'Spartan Stories,' each Thursday, we'll be taking a look at some of the top moments for each CWRU team during the 2019-20 year. Today, we're taking a look at the day the women's soccer team received a bid to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in program history, November 11, 2019.

The 2019 season was historic for the Spartans, who finished the season with a record of 13-5-1, including an 11-0-1 record in non-conference play. The 13 wins tie a program record for wins in a season with the 2011 squad. The Spartans also set a program record with 46 goals during the season. CWRU officially received the bid to the NCAA postseason on November 11, finding out live via the NCAA selection show.
