Over the next few weeks, athletics.case.edu will be digging into our archives to highlight some of the great games and events for the Spartans over the past few years.

Today's game is one of the true classics in the history of the women's soccer program at CWRU. October 17, 2014 was 'Senior Night' for the CWRU women's soccer team at DiSanto Field, as they faced off against one of the top teams in the nation in Washington University. Senior Jessica Sabers scored both goals in the game, including the 'golden goal' in the 102nd minute, to give the Spartans the 2-1 victory. The win ended the Bears' 21-game road winning streak, the longest among all divisions at the time, and put a stop to a 20-match losing streak to Washington U. dating back to the mid-1990s.
