CWRU Spartans (7-7-0, 0-4-0 UAA)

Junior Kimberly Chen was at the center of all three goals for the Spartans on Friday, finishing the contest with a goal and two assists.  She opened the scoring for CWRU in the 26th minute of play, beating the Oberlin keeper to the near post on a free kick from 29 yards out.  The goal was the fifth of the season for Chen. The Spartans extended their lead just over five minutes later, when a pass from Chen sent freshman Christina Hickson on a breakaway up the field.  A quick move around a defender setup a one-on-one with the keeper, and Hickson was able to finish for her team-leading seventh goal of the season.

The score remained 2-0 until the final minute of the game, when a corner kick by Chen was knocked in by sophomore Lizzy Barna for her second goal of the campaign.  The assist was the team-leading fourth of the season for Chen, who is tied with Hickson for the team lead with 14 points in 2018.

Rochester Yellowjackets (7-6-1, 0-4-0 UAA)

The Yellowjackets earned a 1-0 victory over the Rochester Institute of Technology on Thursday evening. Rochester's goal was scored by Carolyn Richards in the 50th minute. In a packed box, Richards found a path to the ball and managed to guide it just over the line where it nestled in the netting.

Emory Eagles (10-4-1, 1-2-1 UAA)

Junior Shivani Beall recorded the first hat trick by an Emory women's soccer player since November 16th, 2013 to lead the Eagles to a 4-0 victory over Covenant College last Wednesday. The three-goal performance was the second multi-goal game for Beall this season and just the third of her career.

Emory will host Carnegie Mellon University on Friday, before welcoming the Spartans to the Woodruff P.E. Center Soccer Field on Sunday.
